The Fenney Recreation Center Showcases Local Talent

While the Fenney Recreation Center itself is a beautiful work of art, designed to look like a Southern estate, it is Villagers who truly bring it to life by sharing their passion and talents.

A call to artists was given last fall, and around 70 local artists submitted hundreds of pieces of art with a Florida nature theme. Thirty-five winners and 55 pieces of art were chosen to be permanently displayed in the Villages' newest recreation center. A reception for the contributing artists was held on June 8 to view and enjoy the exhibit of their works of art.
